SPECULATED

Drymarchon couperi

The longest native snake in the United States, a harmless giant that occasionally eats rattlesnakes.

The Eastern Indigo Snake is North America's longest native serpent, reaching nearly nine feet. Their iridescent blue-black scales and docile disposition are legendary, and their occasional predation on rattlesnakes has earned them a protected-species status in Leonida.
