Green Heron 37
Green Heron
SPECULATEDButorides virescens
A small, crow-sized heron known for its use of tools to lure fish within striking range.
The Green Heron is among the world's few known tool-using birds, dropping bread crumbs or insects on the water to lure fish within striking distance. Its compact size and dark plumage make it easy to miss in Leonida's canal margins until it explodes into motion.
