Air hockey is the purest skill expression in Leonida's arcade ecosystem: no upgrades, no RPG stats, just you and the puck and an opponent whose trash talk escalates in direct proportion to how badly they're losing. The game uses a thumbstick-based paddle control with a momentum-based strike system that rewards defensive positioning as much as aggressive scoring. Arcade leaderboards track weekly high scores, and certain venues run actual cash-prize tournaments. The Stockyard barcade tournament is notoriously fierce and its reigning champion is an eighty-year-old woman from Little Havana who has never lost a tournament final in fifteen years.
