Tiny beach birds that sprint in and out of the surf like wind-up toys.

The Sanderling is one of Vice Beach's most charming residents, racing the waves in and out on blurry little legs as it probes the wet sand for invertebrates. Their fearless proximity to tourists makes them Leonida's most photographed shorebird.
