Flying Squirrel

A nocturnal gliding rodent that most Leonida residents don't realize lives in their neighborhood.

The Southern Flying Squirrel is one of Leonida's most common mammals that almost no one ever sees, being strictly nocturnal. They glide between trees on skin membranes stretched between their limbs, traveling up to 150 feet in a single flight.
