Ambrosia Airstrip Hangar

A private hangar on a rural airstrip capable of servicing light aircraft.

A corrugated steel hangar at the end of a 3,500-foot asphalt strip cut into the Ambrosia scrubland, this facility is technically registered as an agricultural aviation business — crop dusters, survey flights, the occasional flight school student. In practice, it's something else entirely. The hangar holds two light aircraft, a small Cessna and something bigger depending on the week. A fuel depot out back carries enough avgas to get almost anywhere in the Caribbean. The mechanics on staff are capable of stripping and repainting an aircraft in a weekend. Flight logs, officially meticulous, are in reality a polite fiction.
