Dirty Money
Main Story SPECULATEDVarious Vice City businesses
With heat from the heist still lingering, you need to establish money laundering operations to clean your growing fortune.
Money is only useful if you can spend it, and spending large amounts of cash with no visible income source is a fast track to a federal investigation. 'Dirty Money' introduces the business and money laundering system that forms the backbone of GTA VI's economic gameplay. The Fixer, ever the pragmatist, lays out the situation: you've got cash that needs cleaning, and Vice City has no shortage of struggling businesses willing to cook the books for a cut. The mission takes you on a tour of three potential front businesses — a nightclub in the entertainment district, a car wash in the suburbs, and a restaurant in Little Havana — each with different income rates, risk profiles, and management requirements. You'll choose one to acquire, deliver a duffel bag of startup capital, and set the wheels in motion. But word travels fast in Vice City's underworld, and a rival crew decides your new business would be better off under their protection. The mission culminates in a shootout at your newly acquired property, defending your investment and sending a clear message about whose name is on the deed. Completing the mission unlocks the full business property system, allowing you to purchase and manage additional fronts that generate passive income throughout the game.
