The Liquor Store Job 2

The Liquor Store Job

Main Story CONFIRMED

Vice Dale / Local Liquor Store

Lucia teams up with an accomplice to rob a local liquor store at gunpoint — a pivotal early mission seen in the first GTA VI trailer.

This is the mission that put GTA VI on the map before the game even launched. First glimpsed in the December 2023 trailer, 'The Liquor Store Job' shows Lucia — wearing a white top and wielding a pistol — storming into a small convenience-style liquor store alongside an accomplice, demanding cash while terrified patrons hit the floor. The mission is orchestrated by Uncle Jack, a low-level operator with connections to Vice City's criminal underbelly who sees Jason and Lucia as cheap, desperate labor. The job itself is straightforward: get in, grab the money, get out. But the execution introduces players to GTA VI's revamped wanted system and NPC interaction mechanics. The clerk can comply, stall, or reach for a weapon under the counter. Customers might panic, try to be heroes, or quietly call 911 on their phones. Every second inside the store increases the risk. Once you've got the take, it's a quick drive through Vice Dale's residential streets to shake whatever heat you've attracted. The payout is modest — this isn't the big time yet — but it's the first rung on a ladder that goes all the way to the top. Or all the way to a prison cell. In Leonida, the odds are about even.

OBJECTIVES

1 Meet Uncle Jack at the designated location to plan the robbery
2 Drive to the liquor store on the east side of Vice Dale
3 Enter the store and initiate the holdup
4 Secure the cash from the register while managing the clerk and any customers
5 Escape the area and lose any wanted level before returning to the safehouse
