Green Anole

A native green lizard displaced by its invasive brown cousin, now living life in the treetops.

The Green Anole is Leonida's only native anole, a color-changing lizard that can shift from brilliant green to brown in seconds. Pressure from the invasive Brown Anole has pushed them into higher vegetation, where they compete less directly with their upstart cousins.
