Vice Dale

CONFIRMADO

Condado — Leonida

The suburban buffer zone between Vice City's chaos and Leonida's countryside, where lawn care is a religion and everyone pretends the city's problems stop at the county line.

Vice Dale is where Vice City goes to pretend it's a normal place. This suburban county wraps around the city's northern and western flanks, offering tree-lined streets, decent schools, and the kind of quiet residential neighborhoods where the most exciting thing that happens is a new family moving in or a coyote getting into someone's trash. The homes here range from modest mid-century ranch houses to newer McMansion developments, and the residents are a mix of commuters who work in Vice City but wouldn't dream of living there, retirees who've migrated south, and young families drawn by the promise of backyards and cul-de-sacs. Vice Dale takes immense pride in not being Vice City — the lawns are greener, the crime rates are lower, and the community Facebook group's biggest controversy is whether the new speed bumps on Oak Street are too aggressive. Of course, the county's proximity to the city means that Vice City's influence inevitably bleeds across the border, and the local police department stays busier than the residents would like to admit.
