Hiking is Leonida's quietest activity, and arguably its most rewarding for players who want to find secrets. The Mount Kalaga trail system includes signed routes ranging from a two-mile nature loop to a full ridgeline traverse that takes most of an in-game day. Grassrivers boardwalks provide accessible wetland hiking. The Keys nature preserves host short interpretive trails threading through mangroves. And the Waning Sands desert trails are harsh, exposed, and hide some of the game's most remote secret locations. Collectibles scattered throughout the trail systems include rare plants, wildlife photography targets, and a surprising number of unmarked memorials that tell their own small stories if you follow their threads.
