Hunting
SPECULATEDAdventure — Hard
Stalk Leonida's diverse wildlife through swamps, forests, and flatlands, where you're technically the predator but the alligators and wild boars have their own opinions about that.
Hunting in Leonida is a primal, sweat-soaked affair that bears almost no resemblance to the gentleman's sport practiced in cooler climates. Out here, the terrain fights you as hard as the animals do — you'll wade through waist-deep swamp water tracking alligators in Grassrivers, push through saw palmetto thickets pursuing wild boar in Ambrosia, and scan the treeline for white-tailed deer in Kelly County while mosquitoes drain you of will to live. The hunting system features detailed animal behavior patterns: prey species have feeding times, travel routes, and fear responses, while predators like alligators, panthers, and bears actively hunt back. You'll need to manage wind direction, noise levels, and scent to get within range, and choosing the right weapon matters — using too much firepower damages pelts and reduces their value. Legendary animals lurk in the deepest wilderness, one-of-a-kind creatures with unique behaviors that require genuine tracking skill to find and serious firepower to take down. Their materials craft into the finest gear available. Just remember: hunting in the national park is technically illegal, and the rangers in Mount Kalaga take their jobs more seriously than you'd expect from state employees.
