Key Deer

SPECULATED

Odocoileus virginianus clavium

A miniature deer subspecies found only in the Gator Keys, because even wildlife in Leonida comes in a compact edition.

The Key Deer is an adorable miniature subspecies of white-tailed deer found exclusively in the Gator Keys. Standing only about two and a half feet tall at the shoulder, these endangered animals have adapted to island life over thousands of years. Their protected status and fearless demeanor around humans make them a beloved feature of the Keys, wandering through neighborhoods like tiny, four-legged tourists.
