Bayshore Avenue

CONFIRMED

Landmark — Vice City

The palm-lined waterfront boulevard running along Vice City's bay, the city's most famous driving road, especially at sunset with the top down.

Bayshore Avenue is Vice City's driving postcard — the palm-lined waterfront boulevard that runs along the bay from Port Vice City all the way up to Vice Point, and if you've ever seen a Vice City establishing shot in a movie, there's a very good chance you were looking at Bayshore Avenue. The four-lane road is flanked by a grassy park with cycling paths, picnic tables, and jogging routes, and on the water side by moored boats, small marinas, and the kind of sunset views that sell condos. The boulevard is famous not just for its scenery but for its automotive culture: weekend cruises draw exotic cars, restored classics, and lowriders in equal numbers, and at night the road is an informal drag strip where the traffic lights turn green and somebody's inevitably making it a race. The VCPD has a dedicated Bayshore detail specifically to chase down illegal races, and they lose most of them.
