Random Event: Robbery in Progress

Interrupt an armed robbery as it happens in front of you.

Walk past the wrong convenience store at the wrong moment and a robbery is playing out in real time. The player can intervene on the clerk's side for a small reward and a reputation boost, on the robber's side for a larger cash take, or simply walk away. Either choice has consequences that ripple through the reputation system.
