Arm wrestling in Leonida is a legitimate subculture with its own champions, techniques, and a circuit of tournaments at county fairs and specific bars. The minigame features a timing-based burst system layered over a sustained-pressure mechanic — mashing doesn't work, but neither does finesse without strength behind it. Training at the gym increases your base pressure, while learning specific techniques (top-roll, hook, press) unlocks style options that are more or less effective against different opponents.
