Mount Kalaga is what passes for a mountain in a state that's mostly at sea level — it's not exactly Everest, but by Leonida standards, any land formation that requires you to shift into a lower gear is practically Himalayan. This protected national park area sits in the northern reaches of Leonida, offering forested trails, rocky outcrops, and scenic overlooks that provide sweeping views of the flatlands stretching to the coast. The park is a popular weekend destination for Vice City residents desperate for fresh air and the novel experience of walking uphill, though the trails also attract a shadier clientele: the dense forest cover has made Kalaga a favorite spot for burying things that aren't supposed to be found. Rangers do their best to maintain the pristine wilderness experience, but they've long since accepted that the occasional gunshot echoing through the pines isn't always a hunter.
