Rockstar's 8 October 2026 Newswire post is the first official look at GTA VI's radio dial. Six stations are named, each with real-world hosts playing in-game characters.
Cocoteo FM is modern Latin music hosted by Bad Bunny and RaiNao as El Martillo and La Gata. Back Country Radio is outlaw country hosted by Lana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen as Delta Dawne and MW, with Jeremy Dufrene voicing roving reporter Mud Dog Mike. Flash FM returns from the original Vice City as a pop station hosted by Robyn and Alex Consani. AfroBank FM covers amapiano and African classics with Burna Boy and Palms Trax. The Chamber 106.6 is metal only, hosted by Slayer's Kerry King and Tom Araya. Dirty South Classics brings regional rap classics with Trick Daddy and Trina.

The on-foot listening change is the real gameplay news here. The host list is fun, but the headphone mechanic changes how the open world sounds between missions. Expect more stations before launch.
Two system details matter beyond the hosts. Rockstar confirmed on-demand podcasts made for Jason and Lucia, a first for the series. It also said radio and podcasts can be heard on foot through headphones and earbuds connected to the protagonists' smartphones, not just in vehicles.
Audio previews for all six stations are on the Music page of the official GTA VI site. Rockstar called this the latest selection of stations, which leaves room for more to be announced. Full tracklists have not been published, and which songs play on which station remains unconfirmed outside the preview clips.
