GTA 6 Cheats: Are There Cheat Codes Yet?

There are no confirmed GTA 6 cheat codes yet. Grand Theft Auto VI releases on 19 November 2026, and Rockstar has not said anything about cheats. Any page listing “working GTA 6 cheats” today is guessing or making them up.

This page will become the verified cheat list the moment real codes are confirmed in the released game. Until then, here is what we know, what past games tell us, and what to avoid.

What Rockstar has confirmed

Nothing. Rockstar has not mentioned cheats in the trailers, the Extended Look, the Game Informer cover story or any Newswire post. No cheats menu, phone code or button combination has been shown.

How cheats worked in recent Rockstar games

Rockstar’s last two big games give the best guide to what to expect.

GTA V (2013) had two ways to enter cheats:

• Button combinations entered during play, such as the long sequences for invincibility, weapons and vehicle spawns.
• Phone numbers dialled on the in-game phone, each starting with 1-999.

Using a cheat in GTA V disabled trophies and achievements for that session. There was no money cheat.

Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018) moved cheats into a Cheats menu in Settings. You unlocked each cheat by finding a newspaper clue in the world, then entered the phrase. Some cheats disabled saving or trophies while active.

How GTA 6 cheats will probably work

This is analysis, not confirmation. GTA VI’s Extended Look shows Jason and Lucia using smartphones heavily, including messaging and in-game social media, so a phone-based cheat entry like GTA V’s would fit naturally. Rockstar could equally use a settings menu as in RDR2.

Reasonable expectations, all unconfirmed:

• Cheats will likely disable trophies or achievements while active.
• A money cheat is unlikely, following GTA V.
• Cheats will not work in any online mode.

Fake GTA 6 cheat sites

Searches for GTA 6 cheats are already full of sites that want something from you. Treat all of these as scams:

• “Money generators” or “unlock tools” that ask you to sign in, complete a survey or download an app.
• Cheat lists that require a browser extension or “verification”.
• PC “trainers” for GTA 6. There is no PC version.

See our scam watch for the patterns.

Will there be a launch-day cheat list here?

Yes. When GTA VI releases, this page will be updated with codes that have been tested in the released game, with the platform, entry method and any trophy impact for each. Codes that cannot be verified will not be listed.

Meanwhile, the Extended Look breakdown and everything we know cover what is actually confirmed about how the game plays.
