Parachuting in Leonida combines traditional skydiving — aircraft jumps from higher altitudes with canopy steering to specific drop zones — with BASE jumping from fixed objects like downtown skyscrapers, Keys bridges, and Mount Kalaga's cliffs. The canopy model is detailed enough to support accuracy challenges, and the freefall portion rewards controlled body-position tricks. The Escobar skydive center offers licensed tandem and solo jumps; the BASE scene is entirely illegal and therefore far more interesting. Unlockable gear includes wingsuits, custom canopies, and a helmet camera that uploads footage to the in-game social media.
