GTA 6 trophies and achievements: when the list appears, how hard the platinum is likely to be, what GTA V and RDR2 asked for, and how to prepare for 100%.

Trophy hunters, this is your page. Rockstar hasn’t published GTA VI’s trophies or achievements yet, but the list will drop just before launch and we’ll post it here the moment it does.

When the list appears

Trophy lists normally go live when a game’s data reaches the store, and that usually coincides with pre-load. GTA VI pre-loads from 12 November 2026 (pre-load guide), so expect the full list around then.

What Rockstar’s last two games asked for

GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 show Rockstar’s habits:

Story trophies for each major mission or chapter.
100% completion. GTA V’s Career Criminal trophy asked for 100%, and RDR2’s Zoologist asked you to study every animal species.
Collection grinds. RDR2’s animal and fish categories were the longest trophies.
Online trophies. Both games had multiplayer trophies.
Fun one-offs, like GTA V’s Altruist Acolyte for delivering hitchhikers to a cult.

Likely GTA VI categories

Based on what Rockstar has shown, these are strong candidates:

Wildlife. More than 170 species, some marked rare, discoverable or legendary and trackable (hunting guide). An RDR2-style collection trophy is very likely.
Activities. The Extended Look shows 16 activities, from basketball and scuba diving to wrestling and alligator hunting.
Wanted level. The new six-star system is a natural trophy target.
Jason and Lucia. Switching between them and their relationship choices could be tracked.

Get ready now

Don’t skip optional content in your first run. Rockstar says optional goals have story consequences.
Save in separate slots before story choices, in case a trophy depends on them.
Document animals as you go. If there’s a wildlife compendium, chasing it later is miserable.
Pin the interactive map. It tracks what you’ve found locally and syncs to your account.

On launch day

When will the GTA 6 trophy list come out?

Trophy lists usually appear on PlayStation in the days before launch, once the game's data goes live. GTA VI's pre-load opens on 12 November 2026, which is when lists typically surface.

Does GTA 6 have a platinum trophy?

Almost certainly. Big PlayStation releases nearly always include a platinum, and GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 both had one.

Will GTA 6 have online trophies?

Unknown. Rockstar has not announced GTA Online for GTA VI. GTA V's list included online trophies, and RDR2's did too, so plan for some.

How long will the GTA 6 platinum take?

One Rockstar North developer reportedly needed about 80 hours for a full playthrough with optional goals. A platinum usually needs more, so 100 hours or more is a safe estimate.
