PC requirements forecast
GTA VI PC SPECS
Rockstar has not announced GTA VI for PC. Here's our forecast for the parts that will matter most: VRAM, CPU, SSD streaming, ray tracing, upscaling, frame generation and monitor targets.
Official status
PC not announced
The official GTA VI platform list currently shows PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Any PC requirement table you see before Rockstar announces one is a guess, ours included.
Build a shareable forecastBaseline
32GB RAM looks safer
Large open worlds, capture tools, Discord, browsers, and mods make 32GB a cleaner planning target than 16GB.
Storage
NVMe first
Skip the hard drive. An SSD is the safe bet for a future GTA VI PC install, though the final size is not announced.
Display
Match monitor to target
A 1440p high-refresh OLED, 4K 144Hz panel, or ultrawide changes the GPU class that makes sense.
Our advice
This is a forecast, not an official spec sheet
Use the checker to plan upgrades and compare monitors. If you're buying just for GTA VI, hold off until Rockstar announces PC and benchmarks land.
